The team at Ambios are offering an exciting opportunity to schools for free educational site visits!

We have educational roots at our working farm where we also offer nature recovery traineeships.  During the tour we will explain how we work with the land and explore the connections between farming, conservation and food production.

What’s included?

  • Two-hour tour, free – thanks to funding from DEFRA
  • Wildlife-friendly vegetable garden, organic farm and rewilding site within a beautiful and inspiring landscape overlooking the River Dart
  • The chance to learn, understand and become engaged with farming and the environment, with the land as our classroom
  • Public liability insurance, DBS checked facilitators, comprehensive session risk assessment

Following on from the tour we would love to work with you to develop a tailored series of free visits.   These would have diverse content, tied with the seasonal activities here at the farm and linked with your curriculum needs.  The initial tour could serve as a taster session for these potential future visits.
