Ambios alumni have a strong track record of finding jobs within the nature sector. Traditional courses, including degrees, often leave candidates lacking the practical skills required by employers, but our immersive, hands-on approach means our graduates leave with the expertise needed to work in nature.
Over more than two decades, we’ve launched the careers of many conservationists, securing our credibility as a recognised and highly regarded nature training organisation. Our training condenses all of this experience into expertly researched, sector endorsed, relevant traineeships, specifically designed to offer the real-world experience that will kickstart your future with nature.
The practical work Ambios does at Lower Sharpham Farm puts the theory of nature conservation and nature recovery into practice. We provide opportunities to learn and volunteer to understand and better appreciate nature.
We are currently running a rewilding project in part of this historic landscape, and bring people together through the Devon Rewilding Network to connect, guide, support, and inform rewilding in the county.
Our social enterprise approach means we welcome people to join us as we strive to restore, conserve, maintain, and enhance valuable ecosystems. Many of those who spend time with us in this stunning landscape find unexpected personal strength and growth, reminded of their own personal place in nature.
Ambios Ltd is a UK registered not-for-profit company limited by guarantee – meaning it can only spend its income on helping people achieve their goals for nature/science/education and supporting organisations in achieving their objectives for wildlife/conservation/biodiversity.
