Thanks to Erasmus+ funding we’re going to be developing a series of distance learning practical wildlife identification and communication courses aimed at University students (in the first instance). We’re going to be working with our partners Hungary, Portugal and Italy and there will be opportunities for you to participate in the development of these courses. Uniquely, some of the courses will involve the loan of survey equipment to enable learners to take part in any of the participating countries (UK, Hungary, Portugal, Italy).
Having the equipment will allow participants to practice their skills while joining live learning sessions spread over 6-weeks. There will also be Co-funded ‘field trips’ to the partners and we’ll be looking to recruit students (current or recent graduates) to come on these short 5-day intensive study programmes which will involve practicing presentation skills (as a trainer) and negotiation skills (as a stakeholder facilitator).
