We are delighted to be able to offer a limited number of fully funded placements for our 12 Week Nature Conservation Training Course. This is thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund, as part of Sharpham Trust’s Wild For People project.
The Sharpham Trust have been awarded £177,400 to make more space for wildlife and take action for nature. The 3 year Wild For People project will enhance the biodiversity of the Sharpham Estate, stretching along the River Dart outside Totnes, South Devon. Ambios are a delivery partner in this project and we are running the training and volunteering opportunities.
The bursary placements are eligible to UK residents with significant barriers to attending the course – this may relate to, but not be limited to; financial hardship (eg unemployed, in receipt of benefits, low wage, etc), health and wellbeing barriers, ethnic background barriers etc.

Ambios Ltd is a UK registered not-for-profit company limited by guarantee – meaning it can only spend its income on helping people achieve their goals for nature/science/education and supporting organisations in achieving their objectives for wildlife/conservation/biodiversity.
