English Speaking Nature Conservation Camp – Hungary 2015
Our friends at the Barn Owl Foundation (BOF), Hungary are organising an English speaking nature conservation camp for young people (14-18) in 2015
A previous camp in 2012 was very successful and they would like to repeat it in 2015
They are now recruiting for two volunteers for a two week long period between 16-30 June 2015 to help at this English speaking camp.
The ideal candidates:
□ Likes nature
□ Would like to gain experience in teaching and owl conservation
□ Want to improve career in environmental education
□ Would like to see some of the natural beauties of Hungary
□ Would like to do useful volunteering in Europe
BOF are looking for volunteers who
□ are patient and children friendly
□ energetic, hard working
□ can take responsibility
□ are able to speak “BBC” English (slow, loud, clean)
□ have good understanding of wildlife and its conservation
The Schedule:
16-22 June 2015: preparations for the camp, barn owl survey in Zala county
23-30 June 2015: English Nature Conservation Camp
The Finances:
Return flight tickets are about £120 if you book them in time (Bristol-Budapest)
Subsistence: volunteers are asked to contribute to their costs with £350, which covers food, accommodation, airport transfer and incountry travel.
