Ambios continues to follow the most up to date advice and guidance from the UK government in response to the Coronavirus outbreak.
We have made the decision to postpone EU training courses and UK short courses until further notice.
We continue to risk assess each day and decisions are being made on an ongoing basis. The safety of our staff, trainees, volunteers and the wider community are our first concern.
We want to reassure everyone that we have procedures in place for preventing the spread of illness and dealing with any outbreak. The farm is beautiful at this time of year, the air is clear and we feel insulated from the outside world.
We will be reminding trainees/ volunteers of the most up to date guidance before and during their time with us. The advice from the UK government is updated daily and can be found here. In particular, Ambios is following the advice and procedures set out in the document ‘COVID-19: guidance for educational settings’ which can be found here.
If the situation changes in any way which will impact our approach, we will inform staff, trainees and visitors as soon as possible through the Ambios website, social media and/or direct messaging.
We are still planning to run the Summer 12 Week Nature Conservation Traineeship (July to September).
