Our organic produce

Lower Sharpham Farm is our organic farm managed for wildlife, nature and learning. We produce organic lamb beef and eggs for sale. As a member of the higher level stewardship scheme, we ensure that our environmental management and animal welfare are of the highest possible standard. Our sheep and cows graze the pastures of the idyllic Sharpham Estate in South Devon overlooking the River Dart. They are cared for by a team which includes people supported by the Robert Owen Communities, providing work experience for people with learning disabilities.

How to Buy

By choosing produce from Lower Sharpham farm you are making a contribution to nature conservation in our local area and supporting the work of the Robert Owen Communities. And of course you are guaranteed some delicious, organic, high quality, local products at a reasonable price.You can can contact the farm directly to buy our produce.  Our free-range organic eggs can be bought locally from the stall at the entrance to the farm- if we haven’t eaten them all already!

Share in a Sheep

Our Share in a Sheep scheme allows local customers to buy quality organic lamb at a fair price, whilst also making a contribution to conservation and community. Our sheep are raised on our organic farm which is managed for bio-diversity. The sheep graze our fields to provide optimum grass structure, ensuring niche habitats for wildlife. The sheep are cared by a team including the amazing men and women of the Robert Owen Communities, providing an authentic farm work experience for people with learning difficulties. For a real sense of food connection and the rewarding experience of livestock handling, buyers can also visit the farm and help care for the sheep if they wish.

The Share in a Sheep Offer

We provide a fantastic hamper of delicious cuts of organic lamb at a price cheaper than local competitors, delivered in time for Christmas. We deliver to Totnes and the surrounding areas, or you can collect your hamper from the Farm in Ashprington.  You can buy £25, £50 and £100 shares for yourself or as a gift.
