Our weekend workshops last 2 days with the option of overnight accommodation to fully immerse in the learning experience. Each focuses on a particular nature conservation skill, and for 2017 these have been subsidised by LEMUR+ to ensure they remain fully accessible. These might include plant identification, GPS and GIS mapping, camera trapping and bird surveys. They are suitable for employees and volunteers of NGOs, government agencies and research/education organisations aiming to learn new skills. Some are also suitable for keen nature lovers who want to improve their knowledge of the natural world. Each workshop will be taught by a wildlife expert with many years of experience on their subject. Most take place at our base on Lower Sharpham Farm in the idyllic Dart Valley. If you would like to stay with us eco-accommodation can be booked separately in our cosy bunkhouse under the trees. For details of our current weekend workshops, please view our Training Calendar.
