The Lower Sharpham Farm Market Stall was set up in the summer of 2017 with the help of nature conservation LEMUR+ trainees Ellie and Bryony, and the United Response “Market Stall Group.”
In the months leading up to our launch on the 30th June 2017, there were weekly market stall preperation sessions at the farm. Here, the people United Response support helped the trainees to create the displays and some of the products, which they continue to make and now proudly sell. These include seed bombs made in conservation group, walking sticks crafted in woodwork and garden ornaments welded in metalwork.
The market stall is a fantastic opportunity for the conservation trainees and adults with learning difficulties to work together within the Totnes community, and is a wonderful representation of what our farm is all about.
