The objects for which the Company is established are:

1. to use the professional skills of its members to promote enhancement of the quality of life on this planet, this encompassing all humans, flora and fauna, and their respective living environments;
2. to provide a vehicle for its members to pass on their professional and technical skills, such involvement in the field of education and training being both for the benefit of individuals and future industry practices;
3. to advance education and awareness in (i) the principles and practice of sustainable development and (ii) the principles are practices of biodiversity conservation;
4. to provide a vehicle for its members to become involved in bridging the gap between the developed and developing worlds, in seeking appropriate solutions to problems in countries, cultures and environments where changes occur as a result of natural or human developments;
5. to organise and otherwise deliver training and development opportunities that encompass the above objects both within the UK and abroad;
6. to acquire and manage land for the purposes of providing training;
7. to provide a vehicle for the creation and fostering of partnerships;
8. to encourage its members to be actively involved in their respective professional fields, playing an effective and competitive role within the commercial world.
