The MILENYA tortugario at La Barrona has only just started to operate again, and needed a new hatchery. So the first task of the Spanish volunteers in 2005 (while the English were working on their Spanish at school in Antigua) was to use funds provided by EVS to build the structure. Its a new design of hatchery - simple and inexpensive to build, durable and can be dismantled when not in use. Click on the photos below to follow the progress of the construction.
La operación de MILENYA en La Barrona necesitaba un tortugario nuevo. Entonces, la primera tarea de los voluntarios españoles en 2005 era (mientras los ingleses estaban mejorando su idioma español en la escuela en Antigua), usar los fondos proveído por el SVE a construir la estructura.
