English Lessons

We sail every few weeks to either Livingston and Puerto Barrios.  Every few kilometres we stop to profile the water column. These locations are numbered R1 to R16, we monitor:

Salinity, Temperature, Turbidity

                salinity by refraction                secchi depth using underwater-viewer     temperature by thermistors         

Once a week we sail north from the station, these points are numbered N1 to N3. Here we monitor:

Current, Turbidity, Salinity, Temperature and Plankton.
