   Sediment Analysis

In Ambios we have always undertaken in-house sediment analyses, often in collaboration with Sediment Analysis Services (John Malcolm). Since John's retirement Ambios Environmental Consultants now offers to clients a full sediment analysis service tailored to marine and estuarine sediment types wordwide.

    Methodology and pricing

Our simple and long-established methodologies are described in detail in the links below. Particle-size analysis for samples <1kg cost £45, larger (clamshell/Hamon) samples for accurate gravel fraction PSA cost £60 each. Organic carbon determination costs £15 per sample. Please contact us for any further clarification, prices and for advice on sample collection and sample storage.
